What counts as a dental emergency?
If you're experiencing any of the following, please get in touch with us as soon as possible:
- Severe or persistent toothache
- A knocked-out, broken or loose tooth
- Significant swelling of the face, gums or mouth
- A lost or broken filling, crown or denture
- Bleeding that won't stop, or an injury to the mouth
Weekends & bank holidays
At weekends and on bank holidays we run an emergency call-out service from 9:00am to 1:00pm each day. To use it, call 023 8110 2120. Please note this is a chargeable service, and weekend emergency cover is included for our dental plan members.
For severe swelling affecting your breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious injury, call NHS 111 or attend your nearest A&E. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999.
